SELECTION OF MERCHANT BANKERS
 

Orissa Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) is a wholly owned Government of Orissa Undertaking and is a Transmission Licensee operating in the State of Orissa. OPTCL has made a plan to commission new grid sub-stations and transmission lines in the State of Orissa to meet the power requirement of the State in view of the rapid industrialization and rural electrification. OPTCL proposes to mobilize funds of Rs. 500 crores (approx.) for the aforesaid capital investment either through External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) or through private placement of Bonds. For the above assignment, OPTCL invites proposals from Category ‘I’ Merchant Bankers having the experience of mobilising resources of Rs.500.00 crores. OPTCL will have the right to shortlist a few Merchant Bankers based on their net worth and track record who will be called to Bhubaneswar for making presentation on the aforesaid proposal.
