Privacy policy and data usage principles for the mobile application e-Sampark published by Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) is for official use by its employees.
Purpose
The mobile application is intended solely for internal use to provide a read-only employee contact directory for facilitating official communication within OPTCL.
Source of Data
All employee contact information displayed in the application is sourced from internal official data base. The application does not independently collect or generate employee data.
Data Usage Restrictions
The mobile application shall have employee authentication for assessing the data. The application may display employee name, designation, department, official mobile number, and official email address to authenticated logged in user. The application functions strictly in read-only mode. No addition, deletion, modification, or export of employee records is permitted.
Nature of Data Accessed
No sensitive personal data is accessed or displayed.
Data Storage & Security
The application does not permanently store employee data on user devices. Data is accessed securely through authorized internal systems with appropriate security controls.
Compliance
This application complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000, MeitY guidelines, NIC security standards, and internal IT and data governance policies of OPTCL.
