The corporate level National Safety Day-2014 of OPTCL was observed on Dt.04.03.2014 at Power Training Centre, Chandaka. CMD, OPTCL & GRIDCO chaired the occassion with Sri B.C.Jena, Ex. CMD, GRIDCO , Sri A.K.Das E.I.C , Sri H.S.Mohanty, Ex. Director Factories & Boilers. CMD discussed regarding the importance of of Safety measures to be taken and the use of PPE along with occupational health. Sri B.C.Jena emphasised on case studies and preventive measures for ensuring safety. All Directors of OPTCL & GRIDCO talked on the occassion regarding the safety practices. Many Executives & workmen of OPTCL attended the occassion.Best 3(three)safe Grid were felicitated and prizes for safety competitions were distributed.
